Dnipro Academic Drama and Comedy Theater

The theater is located in the heart of the city of Dnipro and has been operating for over a hundred years. Now considered an architectural monument, the theater building is one of the oldest in Ukraine and was built in 1847 with the support of a wealthy Lutsk merchant. The theater has been a regular participant in international and national festivals, including "Danapris" (Zaporizhzhia), "Scene of Humanity" (Cherkasy), "September Gems" (Kropyvnytskyi), "Meetings in Odesa" (Odesa), "Visiting Gogol" (Poltava), "Meliomena" (Poltava). Poltava), "Melpomene of Tavria" (Kherson), "SvitOzhorod" (Sievierodonetsk), Festivalul internaţional de teatru pentru publicul Tânăr iași 2022 (Iasi, Romania) with the play "Maidan Inferno" and others. Since 2018, the theater has been artistically directed by Serhiy Mazanyi.
