The Massacre at Paris
The night of August 23rd-24th, 1572 will forever be known as St. Bartholomew's Night, one of the bloodiest religiously motivated events in history. This theme has long fascinated prominent literary authors such as Christopher Marlowe and Alexandre Dumas, and was also taken up by the artists of the Wolandian Theatre, transferring the story to modern times. The performance shows what an unscrupulous man is capable of on his way to power.
