Anagoor

Anagoor is now the center of attention of both Italian and European theater. The company won the Silver Lion for Theatre in 2018. Anagoor researches deeply into a new artistic language, inspired by historical images and symbols, to build on its iconic aesthetic. The Anagoor Company was founded by Simone Derai and Paola Dallan in Castelfranco Veneto in 2000, and was established from the very beginning as an experiment for collective work. Today, directors Simone Derai and Marco Menegoni work regularly with other artists and professionals to enrich their collective growth. Seen as an ongoing workshop, it is the hub for creative processes, leading to a variety of final artistic formats, blending performing arts with philosophy, literature and hyper-media theater.
